Lawrence DeVoe - Head Instructor (Rokudan Renshi - sixth degree black belt)

De Voe has been training in Uechi-Ryu since 1986 and was awarded the highly respected Shihan, a Master Instructor certification given to exemplary teachers, in 2012. De Voe has also studied Tai Chi, Jiu Jitsu and Iaido. He is currently the student of Bob Kaiser and is the founder and head instuctor at the Downtown Dojo

Bob Kaiser - Senior Advisor (Kyoshi-Nanadan - seventh degree black belt)

Kaiser began his training in Uechi-Ryu Karate in February, 1976, and is recognized as one of the top teachers of Uechi-Ryu Karate in the United States. Sensei Kaiser is a seventh degree black belt (Kyoshi-Nanadan) and also holds the Shihan Master Instructor rank. He is the founder of the Washington Karate Academy in Washington, DC., and currently trains and teaches regularly at the Downtown Dojo

Jeff Fichera - Instructor (Sandan - third degree black belt)

Fichera trained in Uechi-Ryu in the Boston area from 2001 to 2007 and has been with Downtown Dojo for four years. After receiving the rank of Nidan (second degree black belt) in October of 2011, Fichera was asked to become a shidoin, or assistant instructor, at the Downtown Dojo.
